Please read before registering for private or group classes:
Please read and familiarize yourself with the following Conditions for Participation.
Covid-19 Update: guidelines for safe social distancing and business practice in British Columbia are continually being updated. This can have an impact on some services but many are still available virtually or outdoors.
Thank you for your incredible kindness and patience during this exceptional time.
Registration: Group Class and Private Fees are paid in advance
Fees are non-refundable - no exceptions - if your dog is sick or injured, and is physically unable to continue with class, we will require confirmation from your veterinarian. We will give you a credit for the unused portion (an administrative fee may apply).
Private training fees are for private classes only and not transferable to group classes and group class fees are not transferable to private training.
Our scheduled Private Training sessions will run on the specific dates we schedule: If you do need to reschedule, please contact the trainer a min of 48 hours before the scheduled session otherwise you could forfeit that session. Outdoor group classes may be subject to bad weather at times. This could mean a postponed class / session due to a heavy downpour. A light rain is fine but not a downpour. We want both the humans and the dogs to enjoy class. This will be a mutual decision between you and your trainer usually decided an hour before your class or session is scheduled to start.
Our training methods are Positive Reinforcement and Force Free, and these are the only methods that will be used trainers, assistants and students. We will be using treats in class and we ask you to bring your own treats to use with your own dog. Please refrain from offering treats to any other dog without first consulting the owner(s).
Equipment: Your dog preferably is wearing a harness or equipped with a flat buckle or snap type collar and a regular 6 foot leash. We do not allow choke, prong, pinch, or shock collars in class. This equipment is not compatible with our training methods. If you currently use any of these on your dog, please advise us before registering. Flexi-leads (extendable leashes) are not allowed in class. We encourage you to using a body harness for your dog. Ask us for a list of harnesses we recommend
I will not hold Pamela Murray or Canine Spirit training for People with Dogs, the trainers or assistants responsible for any loss, damage or injury to myself, or my property while attending this session
